Are You Interested In Becoming A Member?

Are you interested in becoming a member of Freedom Fellowship? Our process is simple. We ask that you look over our statement of beliefs and if you agree to them, we ask that you fill out the form below and you will be contacted by one of our Pastors or Elders. Our only requirement for membership is that one must profess saving faith in Jesus Christ according to Romans 10:9-10.
If you have any questions about our membership process or about our church, please let us know by emailing us here or by contacting the church office at (479) 361-5848.

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
Scripture: We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, should be our basis for truth. The Bible should be taken in its entirety and used for the “equipping of the saints”. It is the inspired Word of God, without error, serving as our authority for faith and practice.
People: Scripture teaches that God has used all kinds of people, people with little and people with much, educated people and those of very common roots. Freedom Fellowship embraces the concept that each of us, using our gifts and abilities, should be capable and available to minister. God wants to use us.
Salvation: Jesus Christ died for our sins, yours and mine. God cared enough to send His Son to save us. It is by grace we are saved. Our salvation is not a function of what we have done; rather, our sincere confession and willingness to accept Jesus as our personal savior. We believe that our sincere confession and acknowledgment that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for us and took our sin upon Himself, and on the third day after His crucifixion was resurrected, is the requirement for salvation. James 2:17, however, does say, “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead”. Our faith in action should bear fruit.
Baptism: As a body of believers, Freedom Fellowship believes that we should follow the example of Jesus in water baptism. We also embrace baptism by immersion. Baptism is our act of obedience to our Lord, and a statement to other believers and to non-believers that we are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Consideration may be given by the Elder Body to other types of baptism and whether they meet Scriptural criteria.
Leadership: An Elder Body provides leadership for Freedom Fellowship. The Elder Body will increase in number as growth and need within the fellowship present opportunities. We believe our Elders should meet the scriptural requirements as set out in 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and in Titus 1:5-9. Freedom Fellowship depends on “lay leadership” to provide for the needs of the fellowship in contrast to many modern day churches that employ “paid staff” to perform the various functions of the church. We will follow the Holy Spirit’s lead, as did the early church pictured in Acts, and determine step-by-step what God has in store for us.
Accountability: We believe it is incumbent on the Elder Body to hold each other accountable in a myriad of areas. Elders and other church leadership should be willing not only to offer accountability to other believers, but to accept accountability. The Elders are in turn accountable to the body of believers to act in accordance with Scripture and lead in a way that brings glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.
